The Antillean-Surinamese artist Faisel Saro is creating an installation artwork in the sacristy, in which drawing and projection come together. In his artwork Saro focuses on the great importance of the Winti faith for the resistance against slavery and the relationship with Christianity.

With two new artworks, a video and a Social Sculpture, I reflect on the traces left behind by the slavery past in the black community in Groningen.
